For Revolution’s newest collaborative project, the company invites Chopard to co-create a limited-edition L.U.C 1860 in Lucent Steel.
Measuring 36.5mm in case width, the timepiece remains faithful to the model’s proportions and aesthetic codes. Inside its Lucent Steel case, the watch spotlights a hand guilloché dial made of 18k yellow gold. A snailed seconds subdial and Chopard logo tastefully disrupt the intricate pattern of the inner dial, while white gold chevron indices and handset accentuate the watch face in a polished finish.
Through the time-teller’s glare-proofed sapphire crystal caseback, the watch offers a clear view of its L.U.C 96.40-L caliber. The COSC-certified movement is built with a swan neck regulator, hacking seconds and a power reserve of up to 65 hours. Its 22k gold micro-rotor and notched crowns are also engraved with L.U.C logos. Upon a closer look at the sapphire crystal’s periphery, you’ll be able to see a subtle “REVOLUTION EDITION” imprint.
A soft brown calfskin leather strap is incorporated to complement the champagne-hued dial for a more muted color combination. Releasing as a 50-piece limited edition, the collaborative timepiece is now available via Revolution with a price tag of $25,200 USD.
